Extended Warehouse Management functionality in SAP S/4 HANA manages inventory in different locations inside the new release S/4 HANA. SAP EWM allows subdividing SAP Inventory Management Storage Locations into different specific places. At the same time, it offers all related functionality for the placement in Warehouses (Putaway processes) and the removal from them (Stock Removal processes). It also contains different integration functionality with the rest of Logistics or related modules such as SAP PP, SAP SD, SAP QM, etc.
A basic understanding of the processes in Warehouse Management is essential.
